One day after school on the bus the driver said to give up her seat to a white passenger but she had said “It’s my constitutional right to sit here as much as that lady.’’
Hope to the People
She stood her ground on a bus and gave courage to people. She was also a civil right activist.
Interesting Fact
She stayed in her seat before Rosa Parks had.
She was born on September 5, 1939 in Alabama.
