What is object sorting??
Simply arranging the objects systematically in groups.

Objective
I. To understand the Principle of Automation System.

II. To be able to program the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) using the most common PLC programming language (i.e. Ladder Diagram, Structure Text Program, Functional Block Program, Instruction List & Sequential Function Chart).

III. To be able to build a complete system for object recognition and sorting system using “PLC”.

IV. To understand the principle of the sensors and their applications.

V. To be able to select appropriate or suitable sensors for certain application.

A proximity sensor is a sensor able to detect the presence of nearby objects without any physical contact.
A proximity sensor often emits an electromagnetic field or a beam of electromagnetic radiation (infrared, for instance), and looks for changes in the field or return signal.
The object being sensed is often referred to as the proximity sensor's target. Different proximity sensor targets demand different sensors.

An Actuator is a type of motor that is responsible for moving or controlling a mechanism or system.
