"The Internet provides some of the most effective means of communication. Emails and instant messages have made online communication possible. Social networking and blogging websites and online discussion forums have proved being popular platforms of expression." (Oak)

"People in different parts of the world can collaborate over the Internet. They can exchange views, share information and work together over the Internet." (oak)

"Due to internet our world is becoming smaller and smaller. Computers which are connected to internet are connected to each other. This facilitates the transfer of a file or even a folder from one computer to another." (Bist)
"Spamming refers to sending unwanted e-mails in bulk, which provide no purpose and needlessly obstruct the entire system. (Pakhare) "
"Most of the people answering these questions are not qualified professionals. This leads to lot of myths spreading around." (Bist)

Argument
Counter-argument
The internet is like a vast library filled with useful and useless information, and it is our role to filter this information. (Jayashree)
Search engines such as Google provide searchers with the most reliable sources on any topic. (Jayashree)
The development of firewalls and anti-virus software helps limit the spread of spam and viruses. (DeKnock)
The television allows millions of people to witness events occurring in far locations without having to be there (Kamat).
Banks: "The first disadvantage is that many people do not realize how much time they spend watching television if you spend one hour a day watching television. That is 365 hours a year and 3607 hours in ten years. You can only imagine what you could do with that time, it is possible to learn a language or do a university course. "
Time management should incorporate setting specific rules and guidelines as to when and for how long television should be watched (Boyse).

The telephone medium involves direct communication in a more flexible and simplified manner since the equipment involved is not as complex or dependent as the internet or television, and can be used when in remote areas or in any desperate situation (Blank).
The telephone contributes to communication in a unique manner; the person on the other end of the conversation is now able to hear the person talking better communicate with heard verbal nuances and dialect (Blank).
Argument:
Counter argument:
Nevertheless, multiple researches have been conducted in multiple nations and there proves to be no connection between cellphone use and brain cancer (Kabat).

"...electromagnetic radiation emitted by mobile and cordless phones can damage cells, making tumors more likely." (alleyne)
Argument:
A major use and advantage of the television is the news outcast where current events are constantly being updated and spread to the people. Unlike the internet, the news brought on television is absolutely credible and delivered by professionals (Banks).
