The Flash The Rogues The Justice League Captain Cold The Top Barry Allen Abra Kadabra Heat Wave Barry Allen was a police scientist who was known for being a little slow and always late for work. One night as he was preparing to leave work a lightning bolt struck a case full of chemicals causing them to spill all over him. As a result Barry found that he has the ability to run at super speeds and has matching reflexes. He now dons a set of red tights sporting a lightning bolt and took on the name The Flash, after his favorite superhero. He was the second Flash. When the earth was infiltrated by alien forces the greatest heroes joined forces. The Flash (Barry Allen) was a part of the newly formed Justice League. A group of supervillians which contain a number of the Flash's arch enemies. Wonder Woman Superman Batman The Green Lantern Aquaman Martian Manhunter The fastest man alive! Enimies His best friend, The Green Lantern (Hal Jordan). Both Jay Garrick and Barry Allen were good friends with the Green Lanterns of their time. Origin Even faster than Superman! Allies Walley West Wally West is nephew to the previous Flash, Barry Allen. During a trip to the central city police laboratory where Barry Allen recieved his powers a freak accident occurred. Electrically charged chemicals showered Wally and gave him the same powers as his uncle. Originally he used the name Kid Flash, until the death of his uncle. After his death he became the third Flash. Jay Garrick Jay Garrick was a college student prior to the 1940's. He fell asleep in his laboratory after leaving all of his work out. He inhaled hard water vapours during his sleep and when he woke up he found that he had the ability to run at superhuman speeds. He became the first Flash. There are four different versions of the superhero The Flash. Atom Hourman The Green Lantern
(Alan Scott) The Justice Society Doctor Fate Bart Allen Bart Allen is the fourth Flash and grandson to the second Flash, Barry Allen. He first appeared as the crime fighter Impulse, later he took on the name Kid Flash. Bart inherited his powers from his Grandfather. He joined superhero groups like Young Justice and Teen Titans. Hawkman Teen Titans Young Justice Bart Allen's version of the flash joined the superhero groups The Teen Titans and Young Justice. Significance The Flash is well known because of his heorics. Joining groups like The Justice Society, The Justice League, Young Justice and Teen Titans display his heorics on a higher level. He fight against evil and always does his best to protect the innocent. He makes an inspiring role model who always gets his job done. Jay Garrick was a co-founder and member of the Justice Society of America. The Speed Force Composed of all of the different versions of the flash. Created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Harry Lampert. He first appeared in Flash Comics #1 in 1940.
