The Subaru advertisers wanted to make a commercial different from any other, they wanted to show that the Subaru is unique and stands out from any other car, by showing that it has Pure Performance. To prove this they had to do something over and beyond, until it hit them, what if they could use the concept of

The words "powered by STI," in the commercial I just showed you, helps sell the product by showing that the car powered the ad, and is all about pure performance, and doing what its made to do, race on a track.

sure you know that there are many different models of the Subaru, for Example: Subaru Legacy, Impreza, WRX, STI and many more.
The 2013, Subaru_______.
Today, I am happy to introduce you to the 2013 . . . .
The Subaru STI is unique in its own way, it is purposely built for rally and track racing, strong to compete with, and most importantly, built with "pure performance."
. . . . . . . . . SUBARU BRZ
The 2013 Subaru BRZ is made for rally and track racing. For EX. an STI is made for rally and track racing, but at the same time it is an everyday, family car. A BRZ is just built and designed for racing, not everyday driving.
Auto Show
Every Subaru vehicle comes with a Boxer engine, it combines balance with power and efficiency, because of its horrizontal layout. for a well-balanced vehicle the Subaru Boxer engine has a flat, low profile almost perfectly symmetrical because of pistons moving horizontally. To help provide quick handling response, its lower profile can help provide a lower center of gravity compared to other engines like the inline and v-type engines.

Commercial Powered by STI (extended cut)
In the commercial, "Powered by STI" that I will be showing you, the advertisers used the concept of the flip book effect, in a different way to create an animated video. If you were to rapidly turn the pages in a flip book the pictures would appear to animate. The only difference is that in the commercial "Powered by STI" the advertisers painted the pictures onto the side wall of a race track, and if you pay attention you will see that at the end of this video there is a camera hooked onto the Subaru, facing the pictures on the wall. When the Subaru is driven fast along the race track, the camera catches the painted pictures creating the animated video.

race, but when they crash, they lose!
Due to its symmetrical all-wheel-drive (AWD) system and boxer engine the Subaru WRX, STI is made for rally and track racing.

The Subaru is not just any ordinary car,
it is made fast to race with, strong to compete with, and most importantly, built with pure performance.

For different styles of Subaru vehicles there are different Subaru boxer engines but every engine is built from the same simple efficient design.
