Location Major Locations within Palestine Palestine In Palestine climate is hot and dry. The cooler and rainy season is from October to April and dry season is from May to September. Today's temperatures range from 21 degrees C in the winter to 46 degrees C in the summer and the coastal regions the temperature is 16 degrees C in the winter and 29 degrees C in the summer.

Most of their great traditions from the Old Testament were handed down orally from one generation to the next. The vast majority of the people were generally farmers, laborers, fishermen, or tradesmen.

Bethlehem lies about 5 miles to the southeast. The city is situated on an uneven rocky plateau at an elevation of 2,550 feet. It is 3,800 feet above the level of the Dead Sea. Its location has helped to give it prestige and protection. Jerusalem stands at a point where three steep-sided little ravines join to form one valley. They are the Kidron, Tyropoeon, and Hinnom valleys.
Palestine is located in South West Asia and is in the middle of the middle east. Historic Palestine stretched from the Mediterranean coast east across the Jordan river.
