Where Botox can be administered How does Botox Work? Botox works to relax the contraction of muscles by blocking nerve impulses What is Cosmetic Botox? Cosmetic Botox is an injectable neutoxin protein that causes muscle paralysis. How do Wrinkles Occur? Side Effects of Botox Minor Side Effects inclufe: Non-Medical uses for Botox Cosmetic Botox Botulinum toxin Botox is derived from the Clostridium botulinum bacterium. Temporarily relaxes muscle to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Botox blocks the acetylcholine receptors on the muscle side of the junction. This causes temporary muscle paralysis -Dry Mouth
-Neck Pain
-Numbness at the injection site
-Nausea
-Dropping Eyes
-Weakness
Serious Side Effect include: -Blurred Vision
-Infection
-Swelling of Throat, eyes, mouth
-Irregular Heartbeat
-Seizures -Excessive Sweating
-Lazy eyes -Migraines/Headaches
-Muscle Spasms
