Major Events in History
Events in both countries have always have made major impacts on both countries cultures. In Jordan, in the 1900s there was a peace deal that was signed after having severe economic trouble and "diplomatic strain" after the Persian Gulf War. While in the USA, in 1763 the war for independence began.
Events that changed EVERYTHING
First and foremost, in 2003 there was a bomb attack on Jordan's Embassy in the Iraqi capital that only killed twenty but left many injured. On the other hand, in the US there were terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001 that brought down the twin towers and later the Pentagon this event left 3,000-5,000 people dead and many injured. Both of these events affected the cultures of both countries.
Both Jordan and the US have had leaders that have been questionable. In Jordan, King Abdula the second "cede power to have a government" had gotten out of control, little protests have spring up leading to 300 websites having to be shut down. In the US, Richard Nickson was kicked out of office because he lied to the US citizens.

The United states climate is mostly temperate though varies from time to time. Jordan's climate is mostly desert that mainly stays the same

USA the population is about 281,422,000
Obesity is a problem in both of these countries in the USA the obesity percent equates to about 33% which is 18th in the world and Jordan's is 30%.

Telephones have always been a great way of communicating across the globe. Many countries cannot afford these items but Jordan and the US don't have a problem, with Jordan at 465,400 main lines and the US with 146 million both of these countries have troubles with other countries but can always keep in touch.
Airplanes are great and useful to travel in but are very expensive using a lot of oil and gas. Jordan has 18 airports while the US has about 13,000. Airports affect the amount of people that travel in and out of the country affecting the economy in many ways.
Religion is important in the country of Jordan and in the US. In Jordan the main religion is Sunni Muslim which is 92% and the second most practiced religion is Christianity which is 6%. In the US is Christianity is practiced 97%.

Though the suffrage may not seem as important as everything else, it is. The suffrage is how old you are aloud to vote, this is very important because when the government chooses this age they make sure that this age is the respectful age for the choosing of the countries leader. In Jordan, the suffrage is 18 which is the same for the US.

Military service age is practically the age in which you are aloud to join the military. In Jordan, for males the age is 16-49 this is the same for the US and Jordan's females as well
Currency is "Money in any form when in actual use as a medium of exchange, especially circulating paper money." Currency in Jordan is called leerah and in the US money is called a dollar.

Roadways are crucial in the transportation of both of these countries. In Jordan there are 7,891 km, and in the US there are 6,506,204 km. Roadways are very meaningful in the transportation and of the government in these countries.
