in Hollywood, CA. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:HollywoodSign.jpg She attended a college in North Carolina. There she said "I planted corn, made butter, worked on the printing press,
and helped to build the house in which I lived with Paul Williams, a fellow
student, whom I later married."
She wrote her first book at 46 years of age on a houseboat in British Columbia.
It was entitled Hooray for Me! Her book, A Chair for My Mother, has won many awards and was featured
