Geographical Location:
Catanzaro is located in south-east Italy. The city below Catanzaro is Reggio Di Calabria and Cosenza is the city above. It is east of the Lonian Sea and west of the Tyrrhenian Sea By Sophie 8AC Catanzaro Catanzaro's geographical location is: Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy and Europe


Calabria is the region Catanzaro is located in. Calabria was first discovered in the eighth century B.C, by the Greeks. Catanzaro was made direct possession of the crown in the middle of the 3rd century by Emperor Frederick II. Historical Background: Catanzaro Lido

This beach is located only a couple of minutes away from the center of the Catanzaro. This is a perfect place for tourist to go on a sunny day!
Famous landmarks/monuments:
Catanzaro Bridge
The Catanzaro Bridge has been the most famous landmark of the city for decades. It is a one arch bridge which has become extremely popular since it is one of Euopes tallest bridges.

If you want a 4 and a 1/2 star restaurant, more expansive place to eat out, The Opera Restaurant may be what you've been looking for! Pastaz is a 'cheap and cheerful' restaurant. Its child friendly and has great service. If you're looking for something fairly pricy, But something to really enjoy, the Palace Hotel is just what you're looking for, it has a spa and a restaurant on site. On the other hand, if you're on a budget, the hotel 'Ristorante Feudo Degli Ulivi' Is very cheap, but still 4 stars! The Grand hotel is medium priced, with a 4 and a 1/2 stars rating. Catanzaro Lido and Catanzaro bridge are great tourist destinations as they are once in a life time opportunities, you can also go on picnics to Some of italy's oldest national parks in Catanaro.
