"Anyway: there was this Mr. Frodo left an orphan and stranded, as you might say, among those queer bucklanders, being brought up anyhow in Brandy Hall... " (pg:23)
" Mr. Bilbo is free with his money, and there seems no lack of it."(pg:23)
The Lord of the Rings was written by J.R.R. Tolkien in between 1937 and 1949, with over 150 million copies sold. The whole story was published in three different volumes that are titled
The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers,
The Return of the King.
" 'Last night you began to tell me strange things about my ring, Gangalf,' he said. 'And then you stopped, because you said such matters were best left until daylight' "(pg:45)
"Legolas shall be for the elves; and Gimli son of Gloin for the dwarves...For men you shall have Aragorn son of Arathorn... Boromir will also be in the company."(pg:268-269)
"Mr. Bilbo never did a kinder deed than when he brought the lad back to live among decent folk"(pg:23)

" 'I will help you bear this burden, as long as it is yours to bear. But we must do something, soon. The Enemy is moving.' "(pg:60)

" 'There!' said Merry. 'You have left the Shire, and are now outside, and on the edge of the Old Forest.' "(pg:108)
" 'You cannot destroy Ringwraiths like that,' said Gandalf. 'The power of their master is in them, and they stand or fall by him'"(pg:
"Then he drew it, and its polished and well-tended blade glittered suddenly, cold and bright. 'This is Sting,' he said...He unwound several folds of old cloth, and held up a small shirt of mail."(pg:270)
"'The road that I speak of leads to the Mines of Moria,'"(pg:287
"They groped their way down a long flight of steps,...high above them the faint glimmer of the wizard's staff"(pg:318)
"But even as it fell it swung it's whip, and the thongs lashed and curled about the wizard's knees, dragging him to the brink. He staggered and fell, grasped vainly at the stone, and slid into the abyss. 'Fly you fools!' he cried, and he was gone."(pg:322)
"I must go now or I shall never go. I shan't get a chance again. I hate leaving them, and like this without any explanation. But surely they will understand."(pg:392)
