There were no longer only two classes, the wealthy and the poor, the court and the peasants.
Renaissance means "rebirth"
In society, a middle class was forming!
1400-1600 C.E.
Everyday people had access to knowledge and learning
because of the wealth of a growing middle class of merchants
in Europe.
