Everyone should always be aware of their surroundings, especially at night. A few ways to stay safe on Temple's campus

1 in 5 women are sexually assaulted
53.2% of crimes on college campuses have been of aggravated assault cases

Temple Statististics
As of 2014:
- Total number of crimes was 600 in 2014

- Temple is one of the 94 colleges under investigation in relation to how the University handles sexual assult and harassment cases

- October 2013 professor robbed at knife-point in his office
Temple Statistics cont.
- October 2014 six students tied up and robbed in their home in a targeted drug related issue

- In January a community resident (Kim, 56) murdered on 12th and Jeffereson

- Robert Wilson, Philadelphia police officer shot and killed at a GameStop northwest of Main Campus in March
