design by Dóri Sirály for Prezi
Nonviolent action is a technique by which people who reject passivity and submission, and who see struggle as essential, can wage their conflict without violence. Nonviolent action is not an attempt to avoid or ignore conflict. It is one response to the problem of how to act effectively in politics, especially how to wield powers effectively.

(Gene Sharp “The Politics of Nonviolent Action”)
I'm against war; I agree with non-violence. It is not passivity but it is the rigth way to face problems.
I think that non-violence is the rigth way to wage conflicts because violence cause other violence wich means vengeance,
plots and death.
What does NON-VIOLENCE mean?
If we desire to avoid insult, we must be able to repel it; if we desire to secure peace, one of the most powerful instruments of our rising prosperity, it must be known, that we are all times ready for war"
George Washington, the first President of USA

"Men are not gentle creatures, who want to be loved, who at the most can defend themselves if they are attacked; they are, on the contrary, creatures among whose instinctual endowments is to be reckoned a powerful share of aggressiveness. As a result, their neighbor is for them not only a potential helper, but also someone who tempts them to satisfy their aggressiveness on him, to exploit his capacity for work without compensation, to use him without his consent, to seize his possessions, to humiliate him,
to cause him pain, to torture and to kill him."
Sigmund Freud, the father of Psychoanalysis
