CAUSE: blood clot forming under the nail plate

a condition caused by injury to the nail or disease or imbalance in the body.
As a professional you must be able to recognize which nail conditions you can treat or cosmetically improve, or which ones are to be referred to a physician.
if the area to be worked on is inflamed, infected, broken or swollen, it should be referred to a physician
EFFECT: dark purplish spot, usually due to injury
TREATMENT: treat gently and avoid pressure

Nail plates with deep or sharp curvature at the free edge; the greater the curve of the matrix, the greater the curvature of the free edge will be.
