What is the coat of arms?
"When knights elect colours for their coat of arms they take into account that each colour is symbolic in representing who they are. The above language is called blazoning, which is the heraldic term used for coat of arms"
What were they for?
Gold: generosity and elevation of the mind

Silver or white: peace and sincerity

Red: military strength and power

Blue: truth and loyalty
Colour meanings
Bear: strength, cunning, and ferocity

Boar: bravery; fights to the death

Hawk/Falcon: one who does not rest until they have achieved their objective
Animals and their meanings
The distinctive bearings or shield of a person, family, coronation, or country
Flowers and Fruit
Apple: liberality, felicity, and peace

Cypress: leath and eternal life thereafter

Leaves and bush: great age and strength

Laural leaves: peace and triumph
