Batiste's Dry Shampoo Batiste’s has many ingredients in it which form the dry shampoo which cleans hair without a drop of water!
The ingredients within Batistes are as follows:
Distearyldimonium Chloride
Parfum and Coumarin
Denatured Alcohol
Oryza Sativa Starch
Butane and Isobutane

Batistes Dry shampoo comes in a compact metal can with a coloured display and then the plastic lid.

The Batistes logo is very plain but advertises the 60’s big hair look, which is what the dry shampoo is all about. Price Place Product
'Batistes Dry Shampoo' Packaging People Process Physical Evidence Batiste's Dry Shampoo uses promotional pricing and this means that they are constantly using:
- Promotional Offers
- 'Freebies' e.g. buy a product from Batiste's and register for you free sample of out new range! Batiste's is slightly more expensive comparred to other dry shampoos, this is why they offer promotions and get customers 'hooked on the product' Batiste's comes in a tin can.
Marketing colours are typically pastel shades.
Brand Image '60's BIG HAIR! (Create volume and great style) Batistes Dry Shampoo uses distribution strategies to sell their products through most large businesses where their target customers will shop these include:
- Boots
- Superdrug
- Waitrose
- And many more...
The business use direct selling by making their products available online such as boots online.

Batiste's also sells their products through wholesalers. Batiste's are based in a headoffice Batiste's are have a great process
when dealing with customers purchasing their product!
Customers can go online and Batistes will pescribe the customer individually on what the customer needs for their hair!
Website- Very detailed including a blog.
Through other distributers the product is available online.
Batistes has a customer satisfaction service and if they are.. not happy= FULL REFUND! Batistes have a section in each of the shops in which they sell thier product in, they follow the theme of 'tropical' and design their stand based on this!

Banners are used- 'Batiste's' displayed with their logo and theme.
All pastel colours are used to follow the theme.
Small section dedicated in each distributing storefor Batistes- all designed based around the product. The products are produced in a Factory
The people involved in making the product are trained and they conduct market research and based on that have come up with a great brand image!
Specialist staff who create newsletters and e-mail customers on which product is suitable for them.
Staff selling product in distribute stores have knowledge of the product which is expected and information is given to stores e.g.Boots will be expected to know a degre of information about the product. Television Advert
