A Glimpse into the Future of Lakeside School District
What happens if 7th grade students get bored in science class? Normally, if students are bored they aren’t paying attention. But the classroom need to be
and also at the same time can’t be too distracting for the students. So, we need to find way to make a typical science class more efficient and technologically advanced for the year 2050. I have drawn a
of what the average 7th grade science classroom could look like.
The Big Question:
What will the average 7th grade science classroom in Lakeside look like in the year 2050?
Q: What five adjectives would best describe your design?
A: Technologically advanced, innovative, creative, exciting, and complex.
Q: What makes your design innovative?
A: The definition of innovative is something featuring a new method or something already existing but new and advanced. We already have the average classroom desk but the desks in this classroom will be touchscreen. They will have the students’ files, assignments, online textbooks, and even test alerts!
Q: What was the inspiration of your design?
A: Classrooms now and the fact that students want to be living in a technologically driven world. Even at school!
Add pieces of technology to make the classroom more efficient and
. Such as a
touch screen desk? Retractable walls? Lab robot? Smart board the length of a whole wall?! You could use the smart board to take 3D virtual field trips.
