    In Iasi "every stone speaks of the past," the large number of monasteries, museums, memorial houses. Therefore, we can say that Iasi is a genuine national museum, the history and art treasures that he has. Many important events in Roman history occurred at Iasi, Moldova's capital for three centuries (1564-1862).

1600 - Mihai Viteazul union enshrined in Iasi Romanian Principalities;

1638 - The first clock was the Romanian countries installed in 1638 Vasile Lupu tower at Three Hierarchs;

1671 - establishment of the Great Synagogue, the oldest in the country at the moment;

1821 - Iasi breaks liberation movement from the Ottoman rule of Greece;

1859 - the first University of Medicine in Romania;

1868 - Emil Racoviţă born in Iaşi, the first Romanian scientist participating in an international scientific expedition;

Iasi is a very beautiful city, "the city of the seven hills" where you can visit many places, and you will enjoy every aspect of it. I recommend everyone to visit this city because you see so many beautiful things and for sure you'll have fun.

By extension, Iasi is legendary fortress city of the seven hills, Galata, Copou Bucium Peacock Sorogari fast and Breazu, with altitudes ranging between 40 m and 400 m Bahlui Meadow Hill Peacock and Hill quickly. About education
Iasi is a city of great ideas, the first major union, the first theater performance in Romanian, the first literary memorial museum and the first Museum of Natural History.
The main campus is located in Tudor Vladimirescu (22 homes) - where is the largest home in the south-eastern Europe, Titu (4 homes) Târguşor-Copou (4 homes), Codrescu (5 dormitories and complex Gaudeamus international) and Agronomy (4 homes).
About economy
Iasi is an important economic center of Romania. Main industries are metallurgy (SC Arcelor Mittal Tubular Products, SC Techno Steel), medications (SC Antibiotics SA), textiles (SC IasiConf SA, SC Iasitex SA) and food. Banking sector and the information they have gained momentum in recent years, many banks and software companies are present in the city.Iaşi is also an important regional commercial center, here there are many shopping centers (Iulius Mall, Moldova Mall, Palas, Felicia Shopping Center, Era Shopping Center, Central Hall, Axis NICIMAN etc.)
