There is a miraculous birth that occurs in Superman. Kal-El's father, Jor-El, claims that Kal-El is the first natural birth in centuries.

The Journey
to Bethlehem

Mary was living in Galilee of Nazareth with Joseph when an angel visited her.
The angel told her should would conceive a son by the name of Jesus and he would be the son of God.

Caesar Augustus ordered that a census was to be taken. So Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem. This is wear Mary would give birth to the son on God.
The Shepherds
In the fields an angel appeared to shepherds who were tending their flocks of sheep. The angel said that the Savior had been born in the town of David. The shepherds traveled to Bethlehem to see the baby.
After Jesus' birth, Heroda. At this time wise men from the east saw a star, they came in search, knowing the star signified the birth of the king of the Jews. Herod met with the wise men and asked them to report back after they had found the child. Secretly Herod was plotting to kill the child.
So the wise men continued to follow the star in search of the new born king and found Jesus with his mother in Bethlehem. They bowed and worshipped him, offering treasures of gold, incense, and myrrh. When they left, they did not return to Herod. They had been warned in a dream of his plot to destroy the child.

Three Wise men
The wise men saw a star which signified the birth of the king of the Jews. Herod, plotting to kill the child, asked the men to find the child and report back. When they found Jesus they worshiped him. They didn't return to Herod.
