At the age of 13, Michael began a solo career in addition to his work with the Jackson 5.
Neverland Valley Ranch was the home of Michael Jackson.
He named the property after Neverland, the fantasy island based in the story of Peter Pan.
It was Michael Jackson's private amusement park which had a lot of other fairground atractions.
There is also a zoo and numerous statues of children.
Who was Michael Jackson?
He was a famous singer, a songwriter, a dancer and a music producer who died in 2009.
He's considered the King of Pop.
Is an album from Michael Jackson, which was released in 1982.
It generated 7 Top 10 hits and became the best-selling album in history.
It had 12 Grammy Awards nominations, and it won 8.
Michael Jackson released lots of records as an artist.
He won a total of 13 Grammy Awards. He was the first artist to have five singles arrived number 1 from the same album.

Michael Jackson was born on the 29th of August in 1958 in Gary, Indiana. He was brought up in an African-American family. He had six brothers and three sisters.
The Jackson family was a musical group. Michael Jackson became the vocalist when he was 5.
He impressed audiences with his performances and his vocal range.
THE JACKSON FAMILY
In May 1994 Michael Jackson married Elvis Presley's daughter Lisa Marie Presley.
In 1997 he married Deborah Jeanne Rowe. They had two children, they were called Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. and Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson.
In 2002 his third child, Prince Michael Jackson II, was born. The mother's identity is unknown.
Michael Jackson is very famous for his dance style, especially the Moonwalk. He popularized it during an interpretation of Billie Jean in 1983. Since then he used this step during all his career.
Michael Jackson suffered from two skin diseases, called Vitiligo and Lupus.
Vitiligo is a degenerative disease that causes skin depigmentation.
A CARING PERSON
Michael Jackson was recognized for his humanitarian aid, he gave 300 million dollars to charitable causes.
In 1985 he organized the megaproject "USA for Africa", in where 46 artists recorded the single "We Are the World". The project grossed 10.8 millon dollars.
HEAL THE WORLD
In 1992 he founded the charity Heal the World Foundation, which was dedicated to help children around the world.
Michael Jackson died on the 25th of June in 2009 at his home in Los Angeles.
He died of acute propofol intoxication.
