Drama: History & Definitions
- the
entire play in
its written form
- the list of characters and actor's names in a play
- the
words spoken by the actors
- the person in charge of putting on the entire production
Stage Directions
- Usually written in parenthesis, these are general acting prompts to guide the actors.
- a person who tells parts of the story, but who doesn't join in the acting
- the entire play can be broken into several parts. Scenes are usually accompanied by a change in setting.
