How to Read a Schedule
1. Email Teacher or leave a message first (discuss concerns with teacher)
2. Contact Counselor or Guidance Department to schedule Conference
3. Request which faculty members to attend the meeting
4. Discuss: Homework, Classwork, Time Management, Attendance, etc.
5. Academic strengths & Areas for growth
6. Connect with additional help, tutoring opportunities, outside resources

1. ALWAYS USE YOUR AGENDA BOOK!
2. Organize your work/study space
3. Use a separate notebook for each class
4. Use flashcards regularly and draw pictures to help with concepts
5. Use graphs/tables/diagrams/charts to help with studies
6. Rewrite sections of notes and review study sheets
7. Participate in study sessions with other students and teachers
8. Participate in class and ask questions when unsure of directions
9. Keep “To Do” lists & keep it organized
10. Break down large projects
