Alzheimers and music therapy
by Isabella Palisi

This horrible
disease is very
Hereditary
Alzheimer's is a type of dementia that causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior. Symptoms usually develop slowly and get worse over time, becoming severe enough to interfere with daily tasks.
Hereditary:
Determined by genetic factors and therefore able to be passed on from parents to their offspring
Why I'm
doing this project
I'm doing this project because my grandfather has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. It saddens me to watch him like this. I have been playing brain games with him such as puzzles. Some days he is very clear, then some days he is very confused. It may be too late for modern medicine and science to save or help my grandfather but I'm hopeful that one day soon there will be a cure.
My hypothesis is that music will help the brain regenerate memories. i tried to play music for my grandfather, but it did not change anything. although i will keep researching and try to find a cure. thank you for watching my project and presentation. I hoped you liked it. if U have a interest in Alzheimer here are some website that you can go to!
