HOW MIGHT ORGANIC FOODS IMPACT MEDICAL COSTS IN THE U.S.A The medical costs would be lower because the people would be eating organic foods which can reduce the risk of cancer and other diseases that you can get if you eat conventional foods because of all the hormone growth and antibiotics that are injected into the animals, so they can either live longer or make more product. THE COST OF ORGANIC FOODS HOW MUCH IS THE DEMAND FOR ORGANIC FOODS CHANGING THE FOOD SYSTEM The demand for Organic foods are increasing more and more everyday as people want and do find out where their food is actually coming from and how they are raised and this is just the meat section, if you look at the vegetables or the fruits you would see all the chemicals they use for them and then they expect you to eat them, and also when more people are asking for more organic foods, the conventional farms are going to start to close down for more organic crops. ORGANIC FOODS FOOD GROWN ORGANIC V.S. FOODS GROWN USING CONVENTIONAL PRACTICES. HEALTH BENEFITS OF ORGANIC FOODS. AVAILABILITY "Organic foods are foods that are produced using methods that do not involve modern synthetic things like pesticides and chemical fertilizers."- National Geographic Organic foods are available at most major grocery stores.
Organic products are available all over you just have to read the products cover or the back for more information about them. BENEFITS ON THE ENVIRONMENT Organic farming enhances the soil, saves water, slows climate change.

Typically higher in cost because of more labor needed to make the organic foods.
For example, if you go to Publix and buy a gallon of organic milk it would probably cost around 3 to 4 dollars but if you just buy a regular gallon of milk it would only cost about 2 dollars. Conventional farmers can actually reduce production cost by 25%
Organic could have NO pesticides in them while conventional could have so many you could barely count.
Conventional farmers give there animals medicines so they can grow faster.
Organic farmers let there animals have free access to the outside world and a clean habitat for less diseases. Hormone Free-Can cause puberty to come faster since farmers inject their animals with it.
Antibiotic Free- No medicine in the food
No artificial coloring-Your foods haven't been sprayed with artificial colors. DOES GROWING ORGANIC FOODS REQUIRE MORE ENERGY? Yes, because they have to put more effort into growing the foods so that the consumers know that they are eating healthy, fresh food, but not food that has been manipulated with medicine and hormone growth injections. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ORGANIC AND NATURAL DOES GROWING ORGANIC FOODS REQUIRE LESS WATER? Natural meat and poultry can't contain artificial flavors, colors, preservatives or sweeteners, and need to have minimum processing. A natural label does not identify anything about the raising, feeding or care of the animals. Yes, because you can use rain water and other natural water sources, but you won't have to use alot of the water to take care of the crops.
