Automated Guided Vehicle- Forklift Vehicle
What task does this robot preform? What human function or task does this robot simulate?
This robot preforms tasks such as picking up things and delivering pallets, containers, and rolls. This robot simulates pick up and drop loads from floor level, stands, racks and/or conveyors.
Where is the robot used? What is its work envelope?
Forklift AGVs are used in warehouses and distribution areas. The work envelope vary in size. It does not have flexible joints other than tilting.

Is the robotics end effector multi-functional? If so, what other tasks can it preform?
How is the robot taught to preform its task?
A programmer writes the programmer, which is then is programmed into the forklift.
What sensors does the robot have and how does it use these sensors?
There is sensors is in the floor< on the forks, a bar code (to know the item), safety scanner to make sure no one is injured.
Some Advantages and Disadvantages of using a robot to complete this task
Advantages: *No person is running the machine *Saves money * no breaks (saves time)
Disadvantages: * people lose jobs *Wouldn't be able to examine materials*very costly to but one
Describe the impact that this robot has had or could have on its intended audience
Peoples Safely is impacted. People aren't getting hurt as often. It wouldn't put things where they belong and the shelves would be organized.
What type of jobs/careers can this robot create to provide employment for people?
More programmers would be needed, installation people and
More programmers would be needed instantiation people and mechanical people.
Predict and explain how this robot may be altered to preform more or different tasks in the future?
In the future, it could be able to load items on the trucks and take items off.
