Bangalore, India. My great-grandma Violet and her family came to Canada during World War 2. They decided to come to Canada because they knew it would be a safe place to live, and give them a better quality of life. They settled in Calgary, Alberta. My great-grandma wrote a short story of her experience coming to Canada and how they settled here. My whole family has a copy and it has been passed down generation by generation. After World War 2 ended, my great-grandma returned to India where my grandpa was born. Now most of my family lives In Canada. I have never to India to visit.
