Mental and Emotional Disorders
A disturbance in the normal function of a part of the body
Anxiety Disorder
fear keeps a person from functioning normally
hat makes you anxious?
An exaggerated fear of a specific situation or object
Personality Disorder
A psychological condition that affects a person's ability to interact normally with others
Mood Disorder
a person undergoes changes in mood that seem inappropriate or extreme
Major Depression
A very serious mood disorder in which people lose interest in life and can no longer find enjoyment in anything.
The intentional taking of one's own life
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
an anxiety disorder in which people have unwanted and repeated thoughts, feelings, ideas, sensations, or behaviors that make them feel driven to do something.
Autism spectrum disorder are both general terms for a group of complex disorders of brain development.
These disorders are characterized, in varying degrees, by difficulties in social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication and repetitive behaviors.
