the Wright Brothers
A day in a life
By: Shauri Thomas Their young age Orville Wright Wilbur Wright Wilbur was born in 1867 in Millville, Indiana and Orville was born in 1871 located in Dayton, Ohio. their sister Katherine Wright was the only girl and the youngest out of all five kids. The two older brothers are Reuchlin and Lorin Wright. Their parents Susan and Milton Wright were very caring and lovable parents to all of their children. Their Education Wilburs education was fairly good but not great. He intented to go to Yale and study to be a clergyman. Until trajedy hit him while he was playing hockey one day. He had had suffered from facial accidents that prevented him from finishing school. Although his family library helped him to exceed in spelling and reading. On the other hand, Orville simply just didnt care about school. He was basically the class clown! Even though their parents were very encouraging in schooland made each of their children achieve in each class. The amazing airplanes The many airplanes that the Wright Brothers made did not always work out. There was actually a lot of injuries in the making of these very powerful machines. However, there was a lot of tested theories that did actually get them closer to making the plane that works and the one that everybody flew in! So as you can see, The Wright Brothers have a lot of interesting facts and learnings. The next time you go on an airplane think and look at how hard and long it took to make thee airplanes. Wilbur died in 1912 and Orville died in 1948. But when they died I'm very sure that they had great honor knowing that they were a big part of American History.
