Criticism of the million man march
James Lullen- call for more action instead of "just walking". Challenges how coming together to walk challenges black men to be better.
His suggestion: a million men sign up to make at least one boy/youth prisoner a protege for a year (mentoring the youth)
-sexism- feminists not okay with absence of women
-religious controversy- leader Farrakan was known for his anti-semitic views. African-American version of Hitler?
