Words that mean the same.
In your dictionary...
Find the meaning of these words:

bright, outgoing, happy, slim, cheerful, fat, hard, overweight, sociable, clever, friendly, intelligent, thin, difficult, glad, skinny.
1. Smile to me.
2. Open your book on page 9, and do exercise 3.

This unit's project is going to be about description.
Partial synonyms
There are words that may seem as they meant the same, but they actually don't, they just have similar meanings, and they are partial synonyms.
Partial synonyms
Be careful, because one of the partial synonyms could be impolite and offensive.
Match the words with their partial synonyms
Depending on what you found, you will use an iPad to find if one synonym is politer, or useful, or not usually used by the native speakers etc.
Make teams of 3
You are going to choose one famous person and describe it.
