Greek Gods Beginning of Greek Gods The titans are the ones who created the gods. The main titan who made greek gods is Cronus and ,his wife, Rhea. Together Cronus and Rhea had Zeus, Posiedon, Hades Hestia, Hera, Demeter, and Pluto. Zeus and Cronus Cronus heard a prophecy that one of his children were going to overthrow him. So, Cronus ate his children one by one. Rhea couldn't bare to watch her children being eaten anymore so instead of giving her sixth child to Cronus she gave him a rock to eat and he did. Once Zeus ,the sixth child, was ready to fight his father, he saved his brothers and sisters and had war with his father and won.
