Doctor Who main Villans
The Silence want to kill the Doctor, so they will avoid a possible war on the future. Their most scary characteristic - beside their appearance - is the fact that you forget about them when you look away. So you can’t remember you saw a silence, or even how they look like.
The Cyberman are robots. But they used to be humans. They were “ upgraded” (most of them without consent) in to creatures with no feelings. And they want to upgrade all the humans in to cyberman. - Just like metal Zombies. basically.
The Daleks are the Doctor’s biggest enemy. They are described as “creatures of hate” And their only purpose in life is to destroy. Or “ exterminate” how they say.
They were created as analogy to the Nazis
The Weeping Angels
They are the fastest creatures alive, with the most efficient defense system. They are quantum-locked. They don’t exist when they are being observed. The moment they are seem by any other living creature, they freeze in to rock.
They usually send their victims back in time, so they can feed on the time energy that is created.
The Time War.
The Doctor is the last of the Time Lords. His entire species were extinct in an event caled " The Last Great Time War. "
It was a war between Daleks and Timelords, but affect all the Universe Around them.
The Doctor decided himself that the War had gone too far, So he basically blew up all the planet, killing either all timelords and Daleks, And putting an end on the endless war.
He feels extremely guilty about that
The War Doctor.
this was the Doctor when he decides to kill his own people. He is ashamed of this regeneration, and don't consider himself " The Doctor" in this context.
"- Did you ever cont? How many children were in Gallifrey that day? - War Doctor.
- 2.47 billion. - Tenth Doctor"
Why Doctor Who is an Amazing Show
It teaches you a lot of history ( if you are able to separe aliens to reality)
It has some great quotes.
" -Who's she?
- Nobody important.
-Nobody important? Blimey, that's amazing. You know that in nine hundred years of time and space and I've never met anybody who wasn't important before."
“Some people live more in 20 years than others do in 80. It’s not the time that matters, it’s the person.”
“We’re all stories, in the end. Just make sure it's a good one, eh?”
Doctor who is not only about Aliens and nerd stuff. Its about love, and lost. It's about pain and about the wonderfull things that we not always notice.
It's about a mad man with a box, and all his wonderfull adventures.
