What changes do you need to make for correctness?
What changes can you make for style and persuasion? Reflections? Try ... flipping the halves of the sentence ...
or starting with a word deeper in the sentence
... or deleting that word and re-wording the sentence. Try ... using a stronger verb ... or
shortening several verbs to one strong verb
... or rewording the sentence after deleting:
am, is, are, was, were, been, have, has, had. Try ... making sure each comma is correct by matching it to a comma rule ... and looking at places with NO commas to see if you need one ... and considering if different punctuation or sentence combination would be more persuasive. Try ... combining two connected sentences ...
or adding detail to items in a series ... or using a
