The United States Postal Service A Proposal Report By: Catherine Jones History Why the USPS? Issues Recomendations Conclusion Resources The USPS was not the first means of delivery for mail. The first Post Master general appointed by the Contenetial Congress was Benjamin Franklin. Benjamin Franklin controlled the flow of getting newspapers about cities and towns. The publishers of newspapers were often the delivery men for thier newspapers. I chose the USPS because over time
the Postal Service has grown and changed
to fit the consumer. Now that it is having
trouble with company image, the consumer
is being forgotten and the USPS is not
adapting to the new demands. The USPS' image is being tarnished

the industry and paper mail
is becoming a thing of the past. Eliminate Saturday mail delivery
Incorporate today's technology
Gain confidence of consumer In conclusion, in order to keep one of
the oldest companies in U.S. history
afloat, a new face for the USPS has to
be made. Connecting to the consumer
will make thier products strive in the
indusrty.
