Born in Milan in 1813
Opened his house as a residence for Catholic university students and gave them the use of his shop when the met to dicuss how to counteract the of anti christ
When and Where Was It Founded
St. Vincent da Paul was founded in 1833 when Frederic and a group of his peers from the Sorbone University in Paris.
The Society offers to help the poor they do this and with compassion by respecting their dignity, sharing the hope, and encouraging to live their lives to the fullest.
Their mission is to see Christ in anyone who suffers and must come together as a family and have personal contact with the poor.
The Patron saint is St Vincent de Paul
Feast day is on 27 September
``Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. 4 Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.``
The Society is for people who feel a need to improve their Christian life and view the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul as a means to accomplish this end. You can get involved by:

St Vincent Targets the poor and homelessness they help by providing shelter,food,clothes for example everyday at a specific time there will be a van at a particular place and hand out food to the homeless people that come by
