He played 22 seasons of baseball. He gave a lot of money to kids in need. He set reocrds for baseball.

I was put in a catholic reformatory for the next 12 years. When I went to school I learn about tailor's trade.
My career was baseball. I held the the records for most home runs in a season and many more records. At first I was a pitcher then turned into a batter. In my career I played for 3 teams. I started playing when I was 19.
My first wife was Helen than my other was Claire. I had two daughters named
Julia and Dorothy.
I was one out of the first five to be invited to be in the Hall of Fame in 1936. He had 12 nicknames. At opening day Babe Ruth was the first to hit a home run in the new ballpark. In my 22 seasons I hit 714 home runs.

I was raised in poor waterfront neighborhood in Baltimore. When I was 7 years old I was a trouble maker. I did things like drinking, chewing tobacco and making trouble for police officers.
gave money to charities. I changed baseball because baseball was going down hill in 1919 so I showed people with my skills.

I died in August 16,1948 at the age of 53 in New York because of throat cancer.
