What state of matter is Flubber? By: Sean Gant and Tyler Tran Flubber What is a state of matter? The states of matter are the physical forms in which a substance can exist. -It is the state of matter that has a definite volume, but no definite shape
-The particles move past each other to create the shape of the container it is in Changes in State The ways are:
Melting, freezing, evaporation, condensation and sublimation

Melting-A solid becomes a liquid by adding energy
Freezing-A liquid turns into a solid and it looses energy
Evaporation-A liquid to a gas
Condensation-A gas to a liquid
Sublimation-Directly from a solid to a gas GAS Solid Liquid First we have to see what the states of matter are and then find out what category it fits into. Movie Clip Summary -It has a definite shape and volume
-The particles are very close together
-Each particle vibrates in place
-They don't move around

There are 2 types: Crystalline and Amorphous
Crystalline solids have a very orderly, three-dimensional arrangement of particles. Like Salt
Amorphous solids are made of particles that do not have a special arrangement. Like wood -It has no definite shape or volume
-The particles move quickly
-The particles can break away from each other
-There is not a lot of attraction between
particles compared to a liquid and a solid What do you think Flubber is?
A solid, Liquid or a gas The End!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Colloidal Suspension -It is when a substance has a
solid permanently suspended in a liquid Robin Williams, playing as the scientist, is trying to make the rubber part of a shoe, but creates "Flubber". When he opens the container to see the creation, he finds a green moving thing called Flubber. He picks it up and starts testing the Flubber to see its characteristics. He does different tests like stretching it, tickling it, and bouncing it. First, he notices that the Flubber mimics what he does. Then it is almost like the Flubber has human characteristics because it can move and get a cold. He says that the green substance is viscous, but can turn into shapes. Also by finding out it is ticklish the Flubber also can bite. The Flubber is also gullible, ductile and elastic. He also finds out that when he drops Flubber, it can bounce really fast and that it can separate into smaller pieces. Finally the scientist finds out that it gets scared of flash. It is actually two of these states of matter combined which creates a................................ WHAT FLUBBER IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
