What advice do you have for someone who is going to study film? "The film industry is all about who you know. When an opportunity to work on anything film related comes up, take it. The more experience you have and the more people you know, the better off you'll be. The film industry is a career where you have to work from the bottom to the top." (Kilian) What are some ways you have gained experience in film while in college? "...I was able to experience first hand how a film is made and I got to be a part of the process, from casting the film, working on set, and being a part of post-production (Editing). In screenwriting, I was able to write my very own feature-length screenplay." (Kilian) How do you plan on getting a job after you graduate? "After I graduate, I'll do whatever it takes to get my foot in the door with anything film related! Like I said earlier, the film business is about who you know. Making contacts will be a huge part of my success level in this industry!! (Kilian) Citations Citations "Admission Requirements for Film." The Los Angeles Film School.
