Transcript of Teen Suicide
Too Many People
Surround Ourselves with Kind People
You should always surround yourself with supporting and kind people. According to experts Michelle Moskos, Jennifer Achilles, and Doug Gray,’’ causes of suicidal distress can be caused by psychological, environmental and social factors. Mental illness is the leading risk factor for suicide. Suicide risk-factors vary with age, gender, ethnic group, family dynamics and stressful life events. This proves that if you are a kind person and have a healthy body image you will feel better about yourself.
Good Body Image
Help is There
Teen suicide is a huge issue. It is the leading cause of death between people aged 15-24. This is a huge issue because no person should feel so bad that they want to take there own life.
Too many teens are trying to kill themselves. On average there are 5,240 attempts of suicide everyday in our world. This is horrifying, this is 5,240 too many sons and daughters that want to take their own lifes daily. No one should be that sad.
Try to keep a good body image. You are amazing and people are always here for you. If you have a good body image you are less likely to feel alone and want to hurt yourself . For example if you have a person that loves them self and feels valued, next to a person that feels alone and does not like them self. The one with a negative body image is most likely to end their life. This is why you should keep a healthy body image.
There are so many options if you need help, for example beyond blue is a great website where you can talk to real people over web chat or phone. They are available 24/7. People are here for you. Keep a healthy mind.
