WaVeS
a wave is the movement of energy through a body of water. waves form from wind that goes over the suface of the body of water. starts in the open ocean strong winds create large waves and if the wind travels a long distance then the wave will also become bigger. waves shape beaches by eroding it in one place and building it up in another. TiDeS tides are caused by interaction of the earth, moon, and sun the pull of the moons gravity on the earth's water causes tidal bulges on the side closest to the moon. changes in the postions of the earth, moon, and the sun affect the size of the tides. ocean water! one kilogram of ocean water contains 35 grams of salt as you go on in the ocean the temperature decreases.
