Synergize!
Think about someone who annoys you, what is different about them?
What are their strengths? What can you learn from them?
Share a problem with an adult you trust, see if they give you new insight into the problem and how to solve it.
Brainstorm with friends and come up with something new
and fun to do together! Don't just do the same old boring thing.
When you meet someone with a disability don't feel sorry for them, get to know them. Find out what you can learn from their life challenges.

Synergy is:
celebrating differences
teamwork
open-mindedness
finding new and better ways
-Convinced their way of life is better or right
-Ridicule those who are different, believe they are doing the right thing by doing so
-Believe people have the right to be different, but don't embrace diversity
-"don't bother me, I won't bother you" attitude
Synergy doesn't just happen it takes effort and is a process. We have to learn to embrace diversity
to allow synergy to have its full potential. There are three main approaches to diversity:
- Value differences
you don't have to agree
- Believe two people who think differently achieve more than two people who think alike
- Diversity = Creative Sparks = Opportunity
