The variety of sweet cakes, also including marzipan, meringues and chocolate. •Mini meringues are topped with whipped cream and fruit such as raspberries make for a variation on more traditional petits fours. Meringue Petits Fours Layer Cake Petits Fours •Layer cake petits fours are simply small cubes of layer cake with decorative icing. You shape them into a rectangular layer cake and cut it into equal-sized cubes. Then you dip each cube into poured fondant and decorate with additional icing or melted chocolate. Ladyfingers are a small sponge cake which are shaped like fat fingers. Usually used for a recipe component, they get soaked in syrup, layered with whipped cream and decorated with piped frosting and fresh fruit. But they can also be eaten by themselves. Which can be decorated in really coool and creative ways. Lady Fingers A macaron is a French confection made with egg whites, icing sugar, ground almonds and food coloring. These ingredients form its tow shells, It is then filled with a ganache, buttercream or jam filling making it also a gluten free dessert Macarons Petits Fours There are so many different kinds of petits fours and there are so many different projects and fun and creative ideas you can do with petits fours, so just close your eyes and start being creative, see what kind of delicious and creative things you come up with?
