John Churchill
Jack Keene is famous because Keeneland was pretty much his farm property
Jack had 5 daughters and 1 son
2 of his daughters recalled Keeneland's first years
Hal Headley was born on December 19, 1888
Hal was the fouder of Keeneland
He served as the race track's president from 1935~1951
Hal married Geniveive Morgan Molley
He had 3 kids, Alice, Patricia, and Hal Jr.
Hal passed away on March 22, 1962
John was born on March 11, 1885
Churchill Down's land was partly inherited to him
He married Sarah Churchill
He had 8 kids, Anne, Henrietta, John, Countess of Sunderland, 2nd Duchess of Marlbarough, and Marquess of Blandford

Keeneland is located in Versailles Rd. Lexington
It was founded after the Great Depression ended
Started on October 16, 1936
Churchill Downs is in Louisville, Ky
It officially opened in 1875
W.H Thomas paid for the grandstand
Churchill Downs's twin spires were finished 20 years after Churchill Downs opened
The land was inherited to John and Henry Churchill, then they leased 80 acres of land to their nephew, Colonel Meriweather Lewis Clark Jr.
