Thanks for listening! First of, what is low self esteem? Low self-esteem is a thinking disorder in which an individual views him/herself as unworthy, unlovable, or unattractive. Once formed, this negative view of self is in every thought, producing ongoing self-defeating behavior. neglect or abuse, failing to meet parental standards,failing to meet social group standards,being on the receiving end of other people's stress or distress,belonging to a family or social group that other people judge or dislike.,an absence of praise, warmth, affection or interest,being the odd one out, at home or at school.Sometimes negative beliefs about yourself are caused by experiences later in life, such as workplace bullying or intimidation, abusive relationships or traumatic events
. The effect that low self esteem has on people depends on the role that it plays in their lives, Sometimes it is an aspect of current problems such as depression, this could also lead to suicidal thoughts, eating disorder or social anxiety. which means that unless you tackle your low self esteem you'll remain vulnerable to other problems such as drug or alcohol use. There are many ways to avoid having this problem or to help yourself gain better self esteem.There alot of programs or handbooks that will help with this problem. Stop comparing:every single individual on this planet is unique. What matters is not whether you are as good as the rest of the world, but whether you are good at being you
Respect yourself a lot. Love yourself more: Because if you don't respect yourself, then how can you expect others to respect you?
Keep a journal. Write something good about yourself everyday. Whenever you feel down and low in self-esteem, open up your journal to encourage yourself once again
No one but you can make you feel bad:Be with genuine, positive people who will help you feel good about yourself as a person in this world . Programs i used:
