1. Jumping/hunter
2. Eventing
3. Dressage
4. Stadium Jumping What are the Differences between these 4 English riding styles???? Show Jumping equipment includes jump standards with gates and poles. Hunter/Jumper Eventing (also known as horse trials) is an equestrian event where the rider and her or his horse compete against other riders in the three riding styles of dressage, cross-country, and show jumping. Eventing Stadium Jumping is a competition where horses and riders must go over a course of hurdles or jumps within an arena or riding ring. Stadium Jumping Dressage I ride a few different horses and there names are Gunner, Lanse,Casey, and Woody. Me I chose to do the English riding styles because i ride English, and i wanted to learn more about some of the different styles. Research Process When the rider prepares to jump, she goes into a"two point"or jumping position putting her weight into the balls of her feet Hunter Jumper The event is judged by being timed and by the number of faults that reflect the number of jumps knocked down,as well as time penalties, and disobedience of the horse and rider errors. In dressage competition, successful training at the various levels is demonstrated through the performance of "tests",a series of movements ridden in a ring/area. The whole training process is designed to slowly strengthen the horse to be able to do a bunch of different movements that require physical strength and a good relationship between horse and rider to do well in shows. Q4 Digital Litercy I ride English, and do both hunter and jumper. I picked my resources by finding authoritative sites and I chose the ones I liked. I chose my format by thinking what would go most with my topic and look good. Prezi was the best one and I liked everything that you could do with it and it worked great! I learned about Stadium Jumping because i had no clue about it. I learned more about everything. Bibliography Google images. Google, 2012.
