Both sentences are in passive voice.
Sentences can be active or passive.
focus on the person or thing doing the action.
focus on the result of the action
Ocean earthquakes cause Tsunamis.
To use the passive voice we flip the sentence.
Tsunamis are caused by ocean earthquakes.
By land slides
By volcanic eruptions
This structure is always passive.
to be + past participle
I will be
you will be
he will be
she will be
it will be
we will be
they will be
The 3rd part of the verb
All we have to do is put them together
So when you are talking with someone we have to be careful on what you say.
Have you ever made a mistake about being too direct in situations.
This happens to me all the time so I learned to work with Active and passive sentences.
