Transcript of POEM: The Freedom of the Moon

Robert Frost was born on 1874 in San Francisco, California. His father William Frost died when Robert was eleven years old. In 1895 he got married to a woman named Elinor White, and they had six children. In 1897 Robert Frost attended to Harvard University and left at 1899, he left without receiving a degree. In 1912 Robert Frost sold his farm and took his wife children to England. While in England Frost was really influenced by an English poet named Rupert Brooke that was when Robert Frost started to write more poems. Robert Frost then passed away on January 29th 1963.
1) A Brief Biography
I think this poem is talking about how the moon is in the sky all the time, day or night, and how where ever we go either to the pond or a farmhouse the moon will always shine on us. The moon is also like a symbol of freedom because it's always in the sky no matter what time it is.
2) Meaning of the poem
I've tried the new moon tilted in the
Above a hazy tree-and-farmhouse
As you might try a jewel in your
I've tried it fine with little breadth of
Alone, or in one ornament
With one first-water star almost

I put it shining anywhere I
By walking slowly on some evening
I've pulled it from a crate of crooked
And brought it over glossy water,
And dropped it in, and seen the image
The color run, all sorts of wonder
3) Type of Poem
For the Image of the Concrete Poem I decided to chose an Image of the Moon in the sky, because in the poem it talks about the Moon and how free it is, so i thought that a drawing of a moon would relate to the poem a lot.
