need to be doing something different
at any moment. They do not present so much extrinsic motivation and are not easy to handle. They do not have as much curiosity as children do. However they can be motivated and inspired which let them show how intelligent they are. They present a high level of extrinsic motivation which let them success quickly. However they can present some problems when learning for the very first time. They want to learn more and they may well be motivated extrinsically. Sometimes they will feel they are learning nothing and as teachers it is necessary to show them there is still a lot to learn. Adult advanced students They are often highly motivated and feel confident about themselves at the moment of testing their knowledge of the language. They hardly perceive their progress and because their level does not mean they cannot be assigned with tasks and goals. Qualities of a good teacher!
