Mat Rempit slang language is a mixture of non-standard Malay, English and Chinese dialect. This aspect of their language responds to a need in this group to be secretive, guarded, mysterious and defiant-

In terms of social aspects and implication, rempit's language is used to show power among the speakers and to hinder the commoners and the legal authorities from discovering their hidden, bad agendas
